Adrienne Lee Cognitive/Engineering Psychology
Emphasis: 1) cognitive psychology (how people solve problems, acquire knowledge, and think), cognitive science (how do we model people's cognitive activities), individual differences (performance on GRE & math problems, spatial ability). 2) human-computer interaction (combining psychology and computer science), intelligent tutoring systems (multimedia & educaitonal technology), team and distance training.

David Trafimow Social Psychology
General interest in social cognition. Particular interest in understanding how self-cognitions are organized, and the interrelations betwen self-cognitions and presumed determinants of behavior (e.g., attitudes, subjective norms, control beliefs, and behavioral intentions). Additional interest in the cognitive structures and processes underlying attributions and memory for events and persons.

Dominic Simon Cognitive Psychology
Emphasis: Human learning and memory (verbal and motor) with special interest in dissociations between short-term acquisition performance, and longer-term learning. Also metacognitive aspects of skill acquisition and memory.

Human-Computer Interaction; Knowledge Acquisition and Representation; Information Visualization and High Level Perception

Jim Kroger Cognitive Neuroscience Psychology
Emphasis:The neural processes that underlie social cognition, consciousness, attention, and emotion; the nature of human reasoning; neural mechanisms of schizophrenia and depression; brain-to-computer interfaces.

Jim McDonald Cognitive/Engineering Psychology
Emphasis: Human-Computer Interaction and Interface Design. Semantic memory; Attention; Information Retrieval.

Larry Gregory Social Psychology
Emphasis: Applied Social Psychology\Evaluation Methodology Personal control; Compliance; Pheromones

Laura Madson Social Psychology
Research in gender, teaching, and structure of the self-concept.

Laura Thompson Cognitive/Developmental Psychology
Perceptual and cognitive development from infancy through old age: Recent NIH grant to study mother-infant synchrony in cortisol and behavior and its relationship to cognitive development.

Melissa Guynn Cognitive Psychology
General interest in human memory. Particular interest in prospective memory - memory to execute future intended actions. Interested in the role of monitoring for designated target cues; prospective and retrospective memory retrieval; implicit memory.

Peter Foltz Cognitive/Engineering Psychology
Current Research in the CHIPS & SALSA lab (Computer Human Information Systems and Studies Assessing Latent Semantic Analysis): Text comprehension, Hypertext Information retrieval and information filtering Cognitive modeling, particularly models of memory and text comprehension using Latent Semantic Analysis, Automatic grading of essay exams.

Emphasis: Emotions, Evolutionary Psychology, Game Theory.

Emphasis: Emotion, Event Related Potentials. The Biology of Behavior; Emotion; Cognition.

Walter Stephan Social Psychology
Emphasis: Intergroup Relations. Intercultural Relations; Prejudice and Stereotyping; Attribution Processes; Emotional Expression.
